How Shootup Media delivers digital marketing work, and how to judge any agency’s portfolio

Shootup Media’s digital marketing work spans websites and e-commerce, SEO and AI visibility, paid campaigns, social media, and PR and brand projects for businesses in India and abroad, with more than 100 projects delivered. Press coverage secured for clients can be checked directly in outlets such as PTI, ANI and Mid-day. Good agency work is judged by verifiable outcomes, not attractive screenshots: what the problem was, what was done, what changed and how it was measured. This guide explains how projects run and how to evaluate any agency’s track record.

Types of digital marketing work we deliver

  • Websites and e-commerce: fast, mobile-friendly sites and online stores built for search visibility and conversions.
  • SEO and AI visibility: technical fixes, content, local search and structured information that helps search engines and AI assistants describe a business accurately.
  • Paid campaigns: Google and Meta advertising managed around cost per lead and return on spend.
  • Social media: planning, content creation and community management on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • PR and brand work: press releases, media outreach, positioning, identity and reputation management.

How a typical project runs

  1. Consultation: we review your website, search rankings and AI visibility, and discuss goals and budget.
  2. Proposal: a written scope with deliverables, timelines, price and how success will be measured.
  3. Discovery: research into your customers, competitors and current data.
  4. Build and launch: websites, campaigns or content are created and shared for your approval before going live.
  5. Measure and improve: results are tracked against the agreed goals and the plan is adjusted.
  6. Report: regular, plain-language reports explain what happened and what comes next.

How to judge an agency’s portfolio

Portfolios can look impressive without proving much. Ask these questions about any agency’s case studies, including ours:

  • Was the starting point clear? Good examples explain the problem and the baseline before work began.
  • Are results specific? Look for measurable changes in leads, sales, rankings or costs, with a time period.
  • Is the agency’s role clear? Results often involve the client’s own team, offers and seasonality; an honest case study says so.
  • Can it be verified? Live websites, published articles and client references can be checked; anonymous charts cannot.
  • Is it relevant? Work in a similar industry, market or budget is more useful than a famous logo.

Verifying press coverage

When an agency claims media coverage, ask for links to the published articles and check them yourself. Note whether coverage is editorial, chosen by journalists, or a paid or labelled placement such as a distributed press release. Both can be useful, but they are different, and an honest agency describes them accurately. Our press release service pages explain how each outlet works.

Why we avoid fabricated case studies

Inflated numbers, borrowed screenshots and invented testimonials are common in marketing, and they damage trust when discovered. We describe our work plainly and share examples, references and live links on request, subject to client permission. Some clients prefer confidentiality, so not every project can be shown publicly.

Realistic timelines for different kinds of work

Different projects show results at different speeds. A website build usually takes several weeks from brief to launch, depending on size and how quickly content and approvals arrive. Paid campaigns can generate enquiries within days of launch, though they need a few weeks of data to optimise well. SEO and AI visibility build gradually, often over several months, because search engines and AI tools need time to discover, trust and reference new content. PR depends on news value and outlet decisions, so timing varies. Agreeing these expectations upfront avoids disappointment and helps judge progress fairly.

What makes digital marketing work succeed

  • A clear goal agreed at the start, such as qualified leads or online sales.
  • Accurate tracking of calls, forms, WhatsApp messages and purchases.
  • A good offer and fast follow-up by the client’s sales team.
  • Enough time and budget for each channel to show results.
  • Regular communication and willingness to change what is not working.
